Heritage Park & Playground is a wonderful little spot adjacent to a lovely wooded area.

This park was a really fun find. We've driven by it many times, and somehow never really noticed it. It's a lovely location...next to some beautiful woods and laying across a wonderful walking trail. It's a suburban neighborhood park, so there's no worry about parking or huge crowds. It's located close to gas, food, and coffee shops.

This park had many wonderful playground structures to choose from. There were, of course, slides, and climbing structures, as well as swings. There was an interesting teeter-totter device, which the girls loved. There were little bouncy play items for littles, too. And the main play structures included separate options for both bigger kids and little ones. I always appreciate this at playgrounds. There was an extra-wide slide, which was nice for the girls to have fun sliding down together. There was a twisty slide, and a fun tunnel for the kids to crawl through. Monkey bars were another fun option, as I know those are a favorite for some kids.

We didn't see bathrooms, but as is often the case here in Minnesota, they likely bring Porto-Potties out in the spring and then they're taken away in late fall for the winter. The walking trail that goes right across next to this park is a huge bonus for me, and I was excited to come back another day to take the girls biking on the trail. This park & playground was a great option for our family, and we definitely recommend it for yours!
