Magical Dessert Shoppe Featuring Frozen Custard

If you are in the Belle Meade neighborhood, perhaps after visiting Cheekwood or Percy Warner, Hey Sugar is definitely worth a visit.  The Frozen Custard is melt-in-your-mouth good (we chose mint chocolate chip and vanilla with an array of toppings) and the decor tries to steal the show with bright colors, an oversized unicorn, and plenty of seating indoors to enjoy your treat. 

You can choose from four sizes for custard: child, small, medium, or large.  Both my kids and I found the child and small to be more than enough!  There are also sugar cookies, cookie sandwiches and snickerdoodles, which we will come back to try. The staff was very kind and there are a few cute items for sale on the shelves.  Hey Sugar would also be a fun outing for an after school treat!
