Hitzman-Optimist Park is a fun-filled spot for everyone.

The park features a 9-hole disc golf course nestled among the tall pine trees, plenty of shaded picnic areas, soccer fields, and a backstop for baseball.

There is also a great fairly new inclusive playground. The modern play structures feature a seemingly endless mix of slides, climbing webs, ladders, swing sets, and more. It has a variety of activities that will entertain kids of all ages. There are a few different play structures which is nice because if one is busy, there are other ones to try out and it is easy to keep the younger kids separate from the older ones who might have a bit more energy.

Restrooms are located in a building on site so you can stay as long as you want and stay nice and hydrated.
