Gated playground next to a spacious grassy park.

Holmby Park is located in Holmby Hills, a quiet neighborhood near Beverly Hills. This park is perfect for all ages thanks to its gated playground area surrounded by a large grassy field. The playground has 2 playground structures, including a big kid swing, baby swings, AND a tire swing! The floor of the playground is conveniently sand, making it great for any hard falls.

Right outside the gates, there is a picnic bench area accompanied by outdoor barbecues with lots of space to have a socially distanced family hangout. The strong smell of pine in the air overlooking the greenery is sure to make you feel calm and refreshed. Another bonus is the paved path that surrounds the park. A great path to stroll along, especially because there are no skateboards allowed so you can feel unbothered with a stroller. Another added relief are the restrooms with a changing available open until 5 pm and the free street parking.

There is a 2 hour time limit except on Saturdays or Sundays when there is no limit.

Hannah Menakaya
Hannah Menakaya grew up in New Hampshire, eventually leaving to go to school in DC at Georgetown University. She developed her passion for traveling when she spent a semester abroad in Cape Town, South Africa. While there she explored the beautiful landscape and wildlife of the country and ventured into neighboring countries such as Botswana and Zimbabwe. Upon graduation, Hannah spent a year teaching English in Spain and traveling whenever she could. The highlight of her jet setting career was living on a boat in Mykonos, Greece, and sleeping in the Sahara desert in Morocco. Since then, Hannah landed in Los Angeles where she pursues her ultimate passion - storytelling. While she seeks to tell stories from those in the margins, she finds time to get outside and remember the serenity of nature amidst the Hollywood hustle. Feeling the sand, seeing the birds, and listening to the waves are her ideas of balance and harmony. If you ask her, she’s a professional wellness seeker, smoothie bowl artista and part-mermaid… but according to LinkedIn, she works for the production company that made Queer Eye.
