My friends basically forced me to go to Hook Fish Co. while I was staying in the Sunset neighborhood because they claimed it was the best seafood in the Bay area.  I wasn't a hard sell, as I enjoy seafood and rarely get to eat it in Wyoming where I live.  It exceeded my expectations and I was dreaming about my next meal there before I even finished my fish and chips.  It's a fairly small space with a few tables and a bar you can sit at.  There is outside seating as well just along the sidewalk.  I would suggest ordering the food to go and enjoying it on the beach while you watch the sunset with the family.  I can't stress this enough though, if you are in the Sunset area, figure out how to make it here for a meal!  Seriously some of the best food I have ever had.  It's casual dining with high quality food!

She spent most of her years before college deeply entrenched in the world of competitive cheerleading before discovering a passion for outdoor sports including mountain biking, white water kayaking, bikepacking, backpacking, slacklining, rock climbing, and skiing. Having been surrounded by children her entire life in her mother's daycare, she always had a strong affinity for kids. She moved to the mountains of Jackson Hole after graduating to coach for the local Kayak Club during the summers and nanny in the winters. Becoming a part of the Happy Active Family team felt like the perfect collision of her passion for building strong community bonds and encouraging an outdoor lifestyle.
