A worthwhile splurge, perfect for the whole family!
The food and experience at the Horn & Cantle are both divine. Laidback and ranch rustic is the vibe. Jeans and casual clothes are just fine. The food is delicious - rich however and huge portions. Adults have a choice of local sirloin, salmon, etc. The wine list is exceptional. The prices are expensive, but the service and food are worth it. AND, the wonderful thing about it for parents is that it is extremely kid-friendly on top of all this. Kids are given menus with crayons for coloring and they can choose from mains including chicken tenders, hamburgers, macaroni & cheese, or a hot dog ($7 / each).
Note: this restaurant is on the property of Lone Mountain ranch and is available for lunch and breakfast, but mostly used for ranch guests during that time.
Tip: Get there early and enjoy Bocci Ball on the lawn.
