Take in the View at this Mountain Tower High Above Hot Springs!

If you are in the Hot Springs National Park Area, you’ll likely want to make it up to the Hot Springs Mountain Tower, which boasts gorgeous 360-degree views of the Ouachita Mountains, Hot Springs Mountain, and Diamond Lakes area – all at 1,256 feet above sea level.  Your ticket to the elevator – that you’ll purchase in the base of the tower – transports you up 216 feet to the observation decks via elevator.

There are two ways to the Hot Springs Mountain Tower: (1) take the beautiful scenic drive to the parking lot or (2) hike up the 1.5 mile Peak Mountain trail from Fountain Street from downtown Hot Springs.

Buy your souvenirs and mementos in the shop located at the base of the tower.  We bought a Hot Springs National Park patch to remember our visit.  Snacks and drinks are also available here.

Hours vary seasonally, so you’ll want to check the website for the most updated.  The Tower closes 30 minutes prior to store closing each day.

You’ll likely spend only ~30 minutes or less at the top but we thought the views were a marvelous way to see the town and the park from such a wonderful vista.

General Admission (12 to 54) – $10.00

Senior Citizens (55+) – $8.00

Military/Police/Firemen/First Responders – $7.00

Golden/Park Pass Holders – $6.00

Youth (5 -11) – $5.50

Children 4 and under – Free

Group rates for 15 + – Adult $4.00 | Youth $2.00
