Glamping a few miles from Kennebunkport Maine.

Located in Sanford, Maine and about a 2-hour drive from Boston is this beautiful glamping site. Part of a broader chain of glamping sites located in Europe, Canada and New England, here you can choose between tents for couples or families or a tiny house if that’s your style!

We arrived in September to this gorgeous glamping site as the leaves were turning. Parking is located in a general area by the clubhouse where you check-in. The process was easy and you can get a cart to load your stuff and head on over to your tent area. You can also choose to get a campsite close to the pond or in the woods.

The clubhouse has a small general store with souvenirs and snacks. There is also a restaurant with pizzas and drinks at night and crepes and coffee/tea in the morning. There is a large play structure for kids to play on, plenty of lawn games, a foosball table and a heated pool too! Plenty of picnic tables and hammocks as well.

The tents are spacious and include a full bed and bunk beds which my boys loved! The beds are on either side of the bathroom which has a shower! Such a bonus with kids! There are a table and chairs as well as a sink and all of the things that you need for cooking while camping (except for the food!). At the campsite, there is a fire pit with a grill for cooking as well as a gas stove. Outside of the tent you can relax on the covered wooden deck or sit at the picnic table.

You can fish, hunt for frogs, swim, SUP and kayak in the pond area. There is also a small dock with seating. Such a fun place to make memories with your family!

The Head of Accounting and Boston Ambassador, Jenny has been living in Boston for almost 10 years. Before Boston, she lived in Washington, DC for 8 years, and previous to that grew up on Long Island, NY. Along the way, she spent a few months in Amsterdam with her family biking all around and exploring that beautiful city! Jenny has always enjoyed being active - from organized sports to jogging, and of course, being in the garden as much as possible when the weather is cooperative. She tries to include her children in all of her active hobbies. With two toddler boys, ages 3 and 5, she and her husband spend their time discovering new places and things to do in the New England area. Spending time outdoors in all types of weather and encouraging her children to love all seasons is very important to her - and so is helping and encouraging others to do the same. Jenny and her family love spending time at the beach, traveling, taking walks and hikes, and of course, finding new playgrounds!
