Hit the Ice and Enjoy a Classic Winter Day Outside

Gaylord Opryland has a 9,000 square-foot outdoor skating rink made with real ice. Even if you aren't a pro, it's still fun to try a new winter sport.  My children had only been once before and really enjoyed it.  There were polar bear chairs to help balance beginners (you can either push them or sit in them and be pushed).  I had to force them to leave the rink after 90 minutes of skating! 

My recommendation is to go around 10 am when the rink opens to avoid the crowds.

Note: There are lessons available.  We were unable to see the lights in the hotel as we were not staying there.

Price:
$20.00 per person but you can bundle with other activities (Enjoy I Love Christmas Movies™, Ice Tubing, Ice Skating, Ice Bumper Cars, Hot Chocolate)

Friday & Saturday 10am-10pm*
Sunday-Thursday 10am-9pm*
*November 15-18, November 29-December 2 & December 6-9 hours are 3pm-9pm

Know Before You Go
• Tickets must be purchased in advance online. No on-site box office.
• Sales will end 15 minutes prior to closing time.
• Children 11 and under require a paid adult admission to attend with them.
• Children 3 and under are free.
• Skate sizes range from 9 toddler to 13 adult. Guests may use their own personal skates, if desired, but full admission purchase is still required.
• Tickets are non-refundable. Additional fees for parking and taxes are not included in admission and charges will apply. Optional ticket insurance is available.
