The Idaho Falls zoo is a sweet, smaller town zoo with a lot of animals, nice walking paths, picnic areas and room to explore. It is stroller friendly and you can go for an hour to an hour and a half, or make a day of it and head to the old school carnival rides or playground in the same park area afterward. We live in Jackson Hole and it's about a 2-hour drive from here, but it's a great way to spend some of your time even if you're just in the area to run some errands. Check out the Kookaburra Kafe right next to the bathrooms and picnic areas for snacks while you're there and consider renting out the Children's Zoo Gazebo to host your child's next birthday party there!
