A Quiet Park in the Heart of Berry Hill.

Iris Park is a cute, neighborhood park in the Berry Hill neighborhood of Nashville. Based on its play structures and equipment, it seems to be an older playground. It is a little worn for the wear, but that does not take away from its charm and character. There are multiple different play structures, which are fun for both younger kids and older, school-aged kids. The plastic cube climbing structure is extra fun and unique, as well as the castle play area, a little log cabin, rocking riders, and plenty of swings, including a tire swing.

It’s a mulch floor and there are plenty of picnic benches around the park. In the warmer months, I’d assume there’s shade as the playground is surrounded by large trees. This park is very quiet, and we only saw one other family there, who was surprised by our visit since they are normally the sole visitors.

There is a small parking lot next to the park, which only fits 4-5 cars. There are no restrooms on-site, but you are near many restaurants and shops if an emergency arises. After you play, be sure to check out Vui’s Kitchen and The Pfunky Griddle. If you’re hoping to find somewhere with more greenspace nearby, check out Battlemont Park.
