Iron Rooster is famous for their delicious all-day breakfast menu but their lunch options are just as amazing as their pancakes. The menu at Iron Rooster is huge and sure to please even the pickiest eater. The kids menu has three breakfast options, as well as grilled cheese and chicken fingers. The side order of Mac and Cheese also makes a great option for little ones.

In addition to their all-day breakfast, Iron Rooster makes a mean burger. No matter what time of day you go, you have to try the homemade toaster pastry (the RoosTart). It’s not even in the same ballpark as the packaged options in the grocery store.

Iron Rooster has multiple locations in Baltimore including Canton, Hunt Valley, and Locust Point and they all serve equally delicious. While this location doesn’t boast playgrounds like the others do, Riverside Park and Latrobe Park are just a short drive away if you’re looking to burn some energy!

Iron Rooster is open daily and is a popular spot for brunch. If you want to avoid the crowds, it’s best to go early or late. The rush usually starts around 10am and lasts 'til around 1pm. You can also easily make a reservation on their website. The Locust Point location has more limited hours than the other locations. They are open Monday-Friday 7:00 AM -3:00 PM and Saturday- Sunday 7:00 AM-4:00 PM. (If you’d like to go later in the day, check out the other two locations!)

Our work in Baltimore is truly a family affair. Husband and wife, Matt and Katie, work together to head up our ambassador team in Charm City. Katie is a Maryland native and has lived in the state her whole life. She moved to Baltimore in 2007 after graduating from the University of Maryland, College Park with a bachelor's degree in early childhood education. She has been working in the field of early childhood education as a teacher and family coach for the past 12 years. Katie also holds a Masters of Education in Literacy from Loyola University. She is passionate about giving kids and families the knowledge and tools that they need to thrive. Matt grew up in the Highlandtown neighborhood of Baltimore. As a city native, Matt is a great resource on all that the city has to offer. After months of helping Katie explore the city for her role at a Happy Active Family, he decided to put his love of writing to use and officially come on board as an ambassador. Matt and Katie have two girls, ages 5 and 7. They spend their weekends camping, hiking, or exploring other hidden gems in their area. Tap into their insider knowledge by downloading the app today!
