Tubing on the James River is great fun, and this is a great company for your river trip. They are located at 265 Ferry Street in Scottsdale, Virginia, less than forty minutes south of Carter’s Orchard so head down from C’Ville for some tubing before dropping by the orchard on your way back. Another option is to head down to the James River for tubing and then camp the night before heading to explore Highland and Monticello on the way back.
