Memorable pizza with so many other delicious items to choose from - Johnny's is sure to please every taste bud!

So many pizza places around the country put New York in their name, and miss the mark dramatically, that we have come to expect it. Nonetheless, it hasn't stopped us from continuing the search for something authentic in flavor and vibe outside of the state where we know you're a tourist if you don't fold your pizza. We were expecting more of the same when we checked out Johnny's for the first time, and after grabbing a slice to go as I often do without high expectations, I ended up going back inside to bring a whole pie home for my family to try. They were equally relieved to find great New York-style pizza outside of the big apple and we have been back many times since to grab a pie.

It's was no surprise to discover when looking at the website that the restaurant has been family-owned and operated for over 30 years, or that the team at Johnny's makes fresh dough and pizza sauce every day on site.

Recently, whenever we are in the neighborhood, we'll dine in. It turns out not only is the pizza delicious, but nearly all of the menu items we have tried really hit the mark from a native New Yorker's point of view. The salads are delicious and generous in size, the mozzarella sticks are so tasty and obviously the sauce stands up (otherwise the pizza wouldn't). Finally, the casual, welcoming vibe is on point, and in my opinion, they've even managed to improve on a New York pizzeria in one area - the price. The slices aren't cheap, but we've found that overall a meal for four is really reasonable for what you get.

Before or after lunch or dinner, spend an hour exercising the little ones at My Gym across the shopping center.
