Kate's Pancake House is busy with lines no matter when you go, which is a good sign. Because it could be one of the best breakfast spots on Carolina Beach. The pancakes are some of the best we've had. Some of the pancake offerings include banana nut, red velvet with cream cheesing, oreo, very berry and more. The traditional breakfast was really good too, eggs were cooked exactly as I ordered them. Other traditional offerings include breakfast sandwiches, a breakfast burrito, biscuits and gravy and a healthy corner too including tofu and egg whites. Kate's has a good lunch menu too featuring burgers, a black bean burger, salads, philly cheese steak, a kid's menu and more.
Overall a good option for breakfast/lunch fare. Definitely get at least a side of pancakes.
