Kiddie Crusoe is a memorable play place in Timonium.

Kiddie Crusoe is a huge indoor play space that is perfect for days when the kids need to burn energy or get out of the house. The space features a large play structure, a bounce area, plus “Kiddie City”- a kid-sized town featuring a farm, diner, gas station, hospital, fire truck, police station, school, construction workshop, train depot, theater and market.

The majority of Kiddie Crusoe is designed for kids that are stable walkers, think ages four and up. However, there are is a specially designated toddler area for ages 2 and younger in “Kiddie City” and an inflatable for ages 4 and younger in the bounce area. The playground area also has baby swings.

The space is also very big and divided into three sections that don’t have great sightlines. The expectation is that children are supervised by an adult at all times, so it’s a good idea to have a 1:1 adult-child ratio unless you can keep all the kids in your party focused on the same activity at the same time!

You’ll find a café on site where you can stop to grab a snack or a drink if the kids are tired. You can also bring a bagged lunch or snacks from home to eat in the café but outside food purchased from a restaurant may not be brought in.

Hard soled shoes are required for any child that can walk. Socks are required to play in the bounce area.

Admission is $12.99 for ages 1-12 and kids under 1 are $5 or free with a paid sibling. You get unlimited play however, during busy periods they reserve the right to limit play time to two hours. Open play times change depending on the season, so it’s best to check the website for up-to-date information.

Our work in Baltimore is truly a family affair. Husband and wife, Matt and Katie, work together to head up our ambassador team in Charm City. Katie is a Maryland native and has lived in the state her whole life. She moved to Baltimore in 2007 after graduating from the University of Maryland, College Park with a bachelor's degree in early childhood education. She has been working in the field of early childhood education as a teacher and family coach for the past 12 years. Katie also holds a Masters of Education in Literacy from Loyola University. She is passionate about giving kids and families the knowledge and tools that they need to thrive. Matt grew up in the Highlandtown neighborhood of Baltimore. As a city native, Matt is a great resource on all that the city has to offer. After months of helping Katie explore the city for her role at a Happy Active Family, he decided to put his love of writing to use and officially come on board as an ambassador. Matt and Katie have two girls, ages 5 and 7. They spend their weekends camping, hiking, or exploring other hidden gems in their area. Tap into their insider knowledge by downloading the app today!
