Enjoy classic old-school food at Kitchen 64!

You are not always likely to find amazing dining experiences next to an on-ramp, but Kitchen 64 is exactly that.  Located on N. Arthur Ashe Boulevard, Kitchen 64 is named for one of the major highways in the Richmond area, but this restaurant is a welcome respite from four-lane traffic. As you enter, peruse the old-school spinning dessert case full of homemade pie and cake slices! Order your meals strategically to allow room for dessert here, or across the parking lot at their sister restaurant, Sweet 95 (named for the highway above them).

Kitchen 64 has something for everyone, and I do not say that lightly! They have pizza, chicken fingers, burgers, sliders, pasta, and breakfast all day. This picky eater’s heaven does not mean you have to sacrifice taste or freshness, though, the sandwiches and salads have hearty portions and are prepared with the care and nuance of an upscale kitchen. Today’s specials torn us between the Prime Rib Rueben and the Bacon-Wrapped homemade Meatloaf. After lunch, we were fueled for adventure!
