This beach side restaurant has been hustling and bustling since 1991, a true San Diego local spot. Their menu offers California cuisine with a hint of Mexico, and you can order breakfast all day long. The food has a lot to offer children as well, with various options like Kiddo Dog, grilled cheese, quesadilla, burgers, juice and tons of breakfast options and keep in mind - their portion sizes are pretty big! Inside the restaurant you'll order at a cashier and then grab a table, your food is brought to you. There are a handful of tables inside, they offer patio seating directly outside their establishment and also a patio that stretches above the beach where you will find the best seat in the house. They offer highchairs for the little kids, just ask a server!

This local favorite can draw a crowd, especially on weekends. Luckily you're right next to Crystal Pier and one of the best beaches in San Diego, Pacific Beach. Have someone in your group hold your place in line as you and the kiddos explore down the pier or down on the beach while the line gets shorter. Next to the restaurant there are also opportunities for shopping, pop into Wahine's Surf Shop where you'll find the trendy local attire.

Parking can be tricky if you come during peak hours, such as weekends. Your options are street parking or paid parking areas. The streets of Pacific Beach are all unmetered, but you will find parking spots with limited time. It may take a few minutes, but you should be able to snag a spot.
