LadyBird Taco is an awesome taco spot in the 12 South neighborhood.
YUM! LadyBird Taco specializes in breakfast and lunch tacos and they are delicious. Their website says they are "modeled after the taco scene in Austin," and all their tortillas, queso, and salsa are made in-house and fresh! It’s conveniently located on the 10th, behind Waverly Belmont Elementary school in the heart of the residential 12 South neighborhood (lucky residents – I’d be there daily!).
The indoor space is a good size, with several tables and bar seating. The kids’ menu is limited but good and reasonably priced. They also serve margaritas and beer at lunch.
You could pop by and pick up tacos to go and then head to Sevier Park for a picnic.
