A wonderful place to explore in the summer with your kids!

Lake Levinksy is super close to Big Sky (10-15 minute drive) and is below the shadows of Lone Peak, making it a great, family-friendly summer destination for canoeing, stand up paddleboarding, swimming, etc. It's small (10 acres), a manmade dam for fire prevention, and there are condos on its shores, but the proximity to town and scenic views make it a worthwhile family spot for relaxing in the summer. There is a small beach, a tiny island, and ducks to observe.

If you don't have your own gear, that's ok because you can rent:

• Family Adventure Card - A week of unlimited boat rentals at Lake Levinsky and use of the climbing wall at Geyser Whitewater. The best deal in town! $89 for 4 people and $20 for each additional person

• 1 Hour Boat Rental - $14 per boat per hour

• Day Pass - $25 for 1 and $10 for each additional person
