Legoland Discovery Center is a memorable experience for all ages!

Located in Atlanta’s premier, super-upscale shopping mall, Phipps at Lenox, this is every Lego fanatics' dream come true!  The next best thing to Legoland in Orlando, this interactive play place will keep everyone entertained for hours. Start your exploration in a Behind the Scenes Lego Factory Tour.  Discover how Lego bricks are made and get a close-up of the creation process. From there, check out the two Lego-themed rides that are very popular with the elementary school crowd.  Save the princess in a daring motorized Kingdom Quest car ride, and pedal your way home on Merlin’s Apprentice Ride. Several play areas are available including a large building blocks corner for the toddler set.  For bigger kids, there is a Lego-themed pirate ship playground, a water boat Lego-launch pad to splash around in, a build-your-own Lego mobile with multiple ramps and shoots to let it rip down, and a Lego-play house where you can make Lego cupcakes and sing karaoke.  ”Everything is awesome” is guaranteed to be humming through your brain for the next three days!

Want to challenge yourself to be an even better builder?  Take a Lego Building Class. There is an enormous room where a jaw-dropping reproduction of the city of Atlanta is housed. It will inspire young and old! Also, included in the price of admission is an immersive, not-to-be-missed, 4D movie that changes out periodically. Sensory Saturdays, Toddler Times, and, believe-it-or-not, Adult-Only times are offered monthly.  Typically, everyone can enjoy everything in 2-3 hours. It truly depends on how long your kids want to stay and play. There is a café available with limited offerings, but a full-blown mall eatery is right outside the entrance. A wonderful movie complex is right across from the entrance when everyone has had enough. Parents, beware! The playland dumps out in a huge Lego store.  You have been warned. The nag factor is a killer because the most amazing sets are available for purchase. Lego Land is typically open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., with hours extended to 9 p.m. on Saturdays.
