A quiet walk in nature awaits at the South Entrance of Lewis G. Larus Park.

An unassuming entrance that leads to a great trail surrounded by nature. There is limited street parking steps away from the entrance. The path is narrow and heavily shaded (until all the leaves fall off)! You can hear birds chirping and see wildlife which creates a peaceful outdoor hiking adventure for everyone.

Your kids will feel like little explorers blazing this trail. We recommended this hike for kids ages 4+ as there are a few sneaky inclines. We recommend snapping a picture of the trail map at the entrance as there are a number of different paths to take. There is a great stream and little waterfall, be sure to check this out.

The trail is pretty quiet during the mornings on weekdays but expect to see more people out and about later in the day and on the weekends.

There are no amenities at this park.
