This playground offers a beautiful setting for play, nestled against a gorgeous wooded area and a small lake.

Lone Lake Park and Playground have quite a bit to offer. The recreational opportunities here are plentiful, from outdoor pickleball and tennis courts, a basketball court, and soccer field, to a good-sized playground for kiddos, there are several options here. Not to mention, this is all spread-out among a really beautiful backdrop of a moderately-sized wooded area.

The playground itself is set a ways back from the main road, so you would never find it if you didn't know it was there. Note, from the Lone Lake turn-off, you have to take the park road straight, past the soccer field, then continue past the tennis courts and down the hill by the lake in order to locate the playground. On your left, as you come down the hill, you'll see basketball courts, and to the right, a small lake. In front of you will be the playground.

This playground offers two main climbing structures, one tall structure built for older kiddos, and one much smaller for little ones. Then, in a separate area, slightly up the hill, you'll find a small set of swings. The tall structure offers several different types of slides, as well as different ways to climb up. It includes a tall climbing wall with little grips for hands and feet. Please note, if your kiddos are on the younger or more rebellious side, or even a bit clumsy, this structure has an opening just above the tall climbing wall that leaves the potential for a nasty fall. It's just something to be aware of. The smaller climbing structure features a bumpy slide to crawl up, plus slides and stairs. There are only a few swings at this park, but being that it's essentially hidden back from the road, we've rarely found a time where our kiddos didn't have a chance to swing.

Lone Lake Playground does feature walk-in restrooms on-site with flushing toilets, as well as lots of parking space in the lot adjacent to the playground area.

After wearing your kiddos out at this beautiful park, head over to nearby Yo Yo Donuts for a freshly-baked treat.
