Lost Dog Cafe Offers Great Food in Alexandria, Virginia
Located at 808 N. Henry Street with two other locations in Arlington, as well as a cafe both McLean and Fairfax, Lost Dog might offer the best pizza and sandwiches in the area and is an excellent place to stop for lunch after visiting one of the nearby playgrounds with your kids. Try the delicious Italian waffle fries with one of their amazing specialty sandwiches. Their pizzas are a favorite! Lost Dog Cafe also supports the Lost Dog & Cat Rescue Foundation (LDCRF), a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation devoted to helping homeless dogs and cats find forever homes, if the delicious food isn't enough to tempt you!
The cafe also has an extensive and interesting beer menu and offers takeout service. So order a pizza online and pick it up to enjoy at the playground! If you have a car, the Armory Tot Lot and Windmill Hill Park Playground are two great parks that aren't too far away and are great places to enjoy an afternoon with your kids. Pop's Old Fashioned Ice Cream is also close and the perfect place to stop for a sweet treat.
