Looking for an exciting day trip your kids will love? 

Lucky Ladd Farms is more than a farm, it’s an “ag-venture.” It is located about 45 minutes southeast of Nashville and is worth the trek. It has a kid-friendly petting zoo, pony rides, train rides, massive slides, bubble zone, a farmers market, and more. In autumn, they have a massive corn maze, pumpkin patch, and caramel apples. They were featured as the Top 15 BEST Pumpkin Patches in the U.S. by The Travel Channel. In the warm seasons, the splash pad and bubble zone are swimsuit worthy and there are several changing stations around the farm where you and the kiddos can change.

The farm also features fairground-stylefood and beverages (funnel cake and hot dogs, anyone?) for a separate fee. Food to the petting zoo animals can also be purchased for those interested in feeding baby goats and geese.

Be on the lookout for their seasonal activites, including its fall pumpkin festival, Watermelon Day, June's Construction Site Day where kids can ride on real bulldozers and cranes (there can be a long wait so get there early).
