A great indoor activity for little kids in Ardmore, Pennsylvania outside Philadelphia!

Lulu’s Casita in Ardmore is a great place to beat the heat, or the rain and still give the kids a chance to play.  There are tons of options for indoor activity and creativity, including multiple different stations with hands-on activities like a lego wall, a wall of locks and keys and light switches (non-electric of course), and a giant chalkboard.  There’s also an indoor slide, ball pit, giant foam blocks, multiple kitchen sets, train sets and so much more.

Reservations are not needed although it can get crowded on days where the weather outside is not ideal for the kids to play. The staff does a great job making it a family-friendly environment for kids of all ages, and parents. Wi-Fi is free and parents are encouraged to work at the counter overlooking the play space so it’s ideal for a work-from-home parent.

Try coming in early hours or evenings for a more quiet setting, but also enjoy taking part in the many activities, workshops and special events hosted by Lulu’s Casita as well. Events have a separate fee from regular admission.

Bathrooms are clean and have changing stations, changing supplies and even high chairs so that the kids don’t wiggle around while parents have to use the facilities as well.  Best for kids 5 and under, no gear needed as they provide everything you’d need for a day of fun.

Snacks and drinks and coffee are for sale in the cafe inside the space, and outside food and drink are not allowed, so as to adhere to allergy concerns.

Operating hours are Monday – Thursday: 9:00 am-5:30 pm. Friday: 9 am – 7:30 pm (BYOB Pizza night begins at 4 pm.) Saturday: 9am-12pm. Sunday: Closed in summer, 9 -12 seasonally
