A remarkable experience for all ages awaits in Luray, just outside Shenandoah National Forest.

While this is a well-known tourist destination, it's a worthwhile excursion for adults and school-aged children. We assure those of you who may be hesitant, though you are exploring caverns, they don’t feel claustrophobic at all! Also helpful to note, if a child (or an adult) needs a bathroom break, guides are available to shuttle you out different exits at any point.

Luray Caverns also features a rope course, a maze and plenty more. Conveniently located at the entrance of Shenandoah National Park, it also offers easy access to a visitor’s center and great hikes.
