A great Neopolitan pizza spot in the Brookland neighborhood of DC.

Brookland has some excellent kid-friendly restaurants.  Menomale is a Neopolitan pizza establishment also serving salads and sandwiches and craft beers. Their pizza is traditionally Italian styled and they source their ingredients from Italy. Their crust is unbelievable! Gluten-free and Vegan options available. They have some veggie-covered pizzas that adults will love as well as some more plain cheese pizzas for kiddos. They also have a fun mix of desserts for all to enjoy! 

This place has amazing reviews and the pizza is geuine Neopolitan and incredible. Pizza prices range from $16 and up. The pizzas come uncut and have very thin crust. You can always get half one flavor and half the other flavor to maximize and try all of the options. Their calzones are equally fabulous, and there are a variety of flavors to try out. Their bruschetta and appetizer options are classic and do not dissapoint. 

The atmosphere is cozy with classic decor, and the kitchen has a plexiglass separator so you can see all of the action. Kids will recieve smaller cups with straws and lids and this restaurant definitely can cater to children while still being a great experience for adults. 

The restaurant has some seating inside and a lovely patio outside perfect for sharing pizza with the kids after a visit to Turkey Thicket or the Franciscan Monastery. Rhode Island Ave-Brentwood is the closest metro station and is only a five-minute walk to the restaurant. They also have heaters on the patio when the weather gets chilly.
