Millie's is a Favorite in Washington DC!

Looking for a unique restaurant with top-notch, creative cuisine? Millies is an absolute gem, beloved both locally in the DC area and on Nantucket.

While you might not be on Nantucket, the vacation vibe hits you every time you set foot in the Spring Valley location. There is an indoor/outdoor layout, a modern/rustic aesthetic, and a clean, airiness that triggers relaxation immediately. Millie's has Cali Baja-Style cuisine and an atmosphere that is sure to please. This spot is also dog-friendly and outdoor seating is a favorite during the warmer months.

We love the tuna poke, potstickers, the lobster quesadilla, Tuckernuck steak tacos and Cliff Road salmon salad. The queso and guacamole are unbeatable. They also take margaritas to another level.

The kid's menu items feature fruit and rice as well as a protein. The selection ensures there is something for every child, including for those lucky parents that have little ones that like to eat more than just "kid basics" but don't want to be forced to order an adult-sized portion.

The service is friendly and always welcoming. They understand the pace (and sometimes stressful dynamics) of families with little ones and strive to provide an exceptional experience.

An outdoor ice cream stand means you can move on to an afternoon treat on-site, or mingle with an after-dinner drink while they enjoy their dessert.

Millie's is one of our family's favorite dining experiences in the city, and as is consistent with all the Georgetown Events restaurant group locations, it's very family-friendly. For playground time before or after, Friendship "Turtle" Park is just a short walk down Massachusetts Avenue.
