A local favorite with a playground, disc golf course, and nature trail.
Located in the small town of Mint Hill in Charlotte, this park is great fun. The park is 50 acres with amenities for all ages. There are soccer fields, beach volleyball courts, six tennis courts, a 9-hole disc golf course, a 1-mile nature trail, and an asphalt path. Bring your stroller, bikes, or just take a walk around the park.
The two playgrounds are divided for smaller kids and bigger kids as well as a sandbox for play. Each one has shaded canopies, which is awesome for those hot summer days. The nature path has inspirational signs made by the Girl Scouts. This path is gravel and perfect for biking or using a stroller.
Come and play, then take a drive down Matthews-Mint Hill Road to eat at (or take food to go) from a variety of local restaurants.
