Moby Dick is a great option for all ages.

If you like authentic Persian cuisine with fresh food and a low key vibe, you’ll enjoy Moby Dick kabob. Great for take out, delivery or a wholesome family meal, Moby Dick is a treat. Options include steak, chicken and veggie kabobs, rice, hummus and yogurt dip.

The restaurants are simply decorated and clean. They are very nice for families, with large portion sizes offered for family style dining. They list ingredients, allergen and nutritional info to cater to all families' needs and preferences. Vegetarian, Halal, and Gluten free options that don't compromise on taste are all available. This is a locally grown chain, that spread quickly due to high demand, and is beloved by many a Washingtonian for its stuffed grape leaves, falafel and other goodies.

The family platters are especially great for large family outings or outdoor get-togethers at a park or field.

The newly reformatted app has a rather sleek design that expedites the ordering process. Gone are the days of trying to relay your kids’ excited screams for "baklava", sweet layers of phyllo dough and pistachio or walnuts drizzled with honey, and "dolmeh", the beloved rice-stuffed grape leaves. With an app, you don't have to worry about a bad connection or an busy hostess that misses your favorite entree amidst the lunch rush chaos.

Yet, with all this rapid expansion and tech innovation the chain’s family feel, fostered by its founding family, still shines through in uncompromisingly great food.

Frying Pan Farm Park & Kidwell Farm is a five minute drive away and has more than enough to do for an afternoon. Ride wagons, go for a walk, or play on the playground! Stop at Moby Dick House of Kabob before or after to fuel up!
