A destination hike in the stunning forest in Brevard, North Carolina.

Located in the popular Looking Glass area of Pisgah National Forest, Moores Cove Falls is a popular waterfall hike that is located exactly one mile past Looking Glass Falls on US 276 in Brevard. The parking area will be on your right and in busy times (summer especially) it can be quite full, but usually you can find a spot along the road if you can't park in the actual paved lot. The trail starts right at the bridge and is an easy .7 miles to the waterfall. There are a few stairs at the beginning but that is as steep as it gets, making it the perfect hike for little legs while still having a big reward at the end! This is a great trail to to add to your itinerary if you're spending a full day in Pisgah! We personally love to do this hike in the winter when the parkway is closed, if you get there early enough you're almost guaranteed to have the entire trail and waterfall to yourself.
