A beautiful park with a walking trail, playground, and playing fields.

Moss Wright Park is a large park in Goodlettsville, about twenty minutes north of downtown Nashville. It’s home to a 3-mile paved loop around the perimeter of the park, a creek that follows much of the paved trail, baseball fields, a football field, a dog park, a fitness area, soccer fields, a. sand volleyball court, picnic pavilions, and an extra fun playground. We love this park for the playground and the paved loop - great for strolling a baby to sleep. In the warm months, the loop has plenty of shade to keep you cool as your little ones scooter and you stroll, and there’s even a little creek that kids can splash around in, which is accessible from a couple of different spots around the paved path.

The playground is towards the center of the park and has its own designated parking area. Directions from google maps will take you to a different parking lot, further east from the playground, so I recommend heading towards the center of the park to seek out the more convenient parking lot. You can use the satellite setting on maps to find the playground prior to visiting. The playground is designed for toddlers and bigger kids and includes a separate smaller play structure, baby swings, regular swings, a. rope-climbing course, seesaws, and two nature-themed play structures. This playground is a popular one and can get busy during peak play hours, but since it’s large, there is plenty of space for kids and adults to keep their distance. There are also restrooms available nearby the playground.

As an added bonus, there is also a Little Free Library available in the park.
