If you have kids and are anywhere in the vicinity of Huntington, NY, then Munday’s Diner is the place to go for kid-friendly eats. The menu is traditional diner fare, including generous portions of burgers, breakfast standards like pancakes and French toast, and kid faves like chicken fingers and grilled cheese. The line can be long, but there’s so much to enjoy even while you wait for breakfast or lunch at this spot!
That’s because Munday’s goes all-out with decorations for every single holiday. That means glittering snowflakes and ornaments at Christmas, red-white-and-blue everything for the 4th of July, and fall décor galore around Halloween.
We highly recommend the Reuben sandwich, and a traditional Egg Cream to wash it down.
The only drawback is that the front section of the restaurant is narrow, especially when the place is packed on weekends. Fold up the stroller and leave it at the front instead of trying to wheel through (management will happily place it right in the window for you!) so your family can navigate the restaurant with ease.
