This cute little coffee shop with a silly name will delight you!

Munkabeans is a delightful stop for families. Here you'll find delicious, freshly-brewed coffees, and fresh, made-to-order sandwiches. In addition to the tasty coffee drinks, the quality of the food here is much higher than your typical corner coffee shop. With specialty sandwich names as wacky as the shop's name itself, you can choose from the Humdinger, the Simon and Garfunkel, and the Funky Chicken, among others. Trust me when I say there are healthy, hearty options for your whole family here.

The coffee drinks are delicious, and I loved that they had such unique coffee drinks to offer. With options including a Zebra Mocha, Honeyspice Latte, and Marshy Mocha, there really are no bad options here, only the option not to indulge a little. The Marshy Mocha was my personal favorite! I was also really pleased to see the coffees here are served in compostable cups, which is a great step in the right direction for the environment.

This shop is really centrally-located, right in downtown Hopkins, and close to all sorts of shops, as well as outdoor parks. It's a short pop down the road to the freeway and you'll find yourself able to explore other parts of the Twin Cities quite easily. The shop itself was clean, cozy, and welcoming, and offered hand sanitizer right inside the door, which was wonderful. This shop is locally owned and operated, so you can feel good about supporting a local, small business.

After grabbing a bite here, or a coffee to go, head down the street to Amy's Cupcake Shoppe for a special treat.
