NC's Aquarium at Fort Fisher is one of NC's most popular family attractions, especially if you are in the Greater Wilmington Area and surrounding beaches. Most beach-goers save the aquarium for a rainy day and you'll spend your entire day here. So you can rest assured your kids will nap on the way home after all of the indoor fun they had!
You will explore marine life from salt marshes, tidal pools, a 2-story open exhibit with sharks, rays and eels. You'll meet an albino alligator, a bald eagle, stingrays, sea turtles and more.
There is a gift shop (you won't get out of there without buying something so keep that in mind before you enter:-) with everyhing you can imagine to commemorate your trip.
