Nesting House

The Nesting House (Mount Airy) offers the community an environmentally friendly way to shop for kids’ (newborn to size 8) and maternity clothing. The consignment section offers great discounts on onesies, pajamas, outerwear, toys, and other baby essentials, and it's all well organized and maintained to make for easy shopping. New items for purchase in the store are responsibly sourced and simply adorable. There’s a great selection of cloth diapers, outfits, toys, and other wonderful gifts.

With three locations, customers have the option of dropping into the Mount Airy location, or either of the Philadelphia locations. The Nesting House creates a wonderful community by offering free workshops and events that include Baby Wearing, Cloth Diapering, and a New Moms Group. The consigning process is easy, with the choice to donate or pick up what isn’t selected to sell.

Shopping in the Mount Airy location is fun for adults and kids alike - there is ample space to bring a stroller in, and children will find themselves content on a small carpeted corner with toys. The couch is a wonderful spot for a quick nursing break or to sort through your selections before purchasing. Perhaps best of all, the restroom is easily accessible, large, and includes small potties for those just learning.
