Set within the beauty of 30 acre Fort Greene Park in Brooklyn sits a wonderful playground perfect for older children.

Set at the northwest corner of the park, along Myrtle Avenue, this large, bustling playground always seems filled with children, mostly over age 6. The playground is organized to look like a small city set within "city walls" and two-tier climbing structures, passageways, and slides.

For those with younger children, there is a separate baby swing enclosure, or you can head south across the park to DeKalb Avenue and you'll find Fort Greene Park Playground South, which is geared to the toddler set. This playground is Level II ADA compliant.
