Enjoy a blast from the past at the North Carolina Museum of History!

With 12 exhibits highlighting the history of North Carolina this is a great way to have an educational excursion that is also engaging and interesting for the kids. Located in downtown Raleigh the museum is an easy walk from the visitor lot directly across the street.

It’s a large space with plenty of hands-on interactive activities throughout the exhibits. The current “Toy Boom” exhibit with toys from the 1950s & ’60s has attendees reliving their childhood and kids enjoying the Hot Wheels racing tracks, Etch-A-Sketch stations and a giant Twister board.
