Oakboro features four playgrounds, fantastic walking paths and so much more.

Located in the small town of Oakboro (30 minutes outside of Charlotte), this 40-acre park has a little bit of everything. There is a disc golf course, 4 playgrounds, walking/jogging path, workout stations, ball fields, amphitheater, and stock pond. The walking/jogging path is around a mile with workout stations situated around the path. This path is perfect for a jogging stroller or bikes so the kids can come along while you exercise. Each of the 4 playgrounds is different, with one of them being nature-inspired with rock climbing.

This path at the park will even take you to the town's small train museum. Breakaway from the city for a country drive and enjoy this park and all this quaint small town has to offer.
