Check out Yellowstone's most popular geyser
Old Faithful is Yellowstone's most popular phenomenon. It is located in Yellowstone's Upper Geyser Basin and is famous for being a consistently predictable and astonishing geyser. Reaching anywhere from 100 to 180 feet in the air, it's truly a sight to be seen.
It is 2 hours and 15 minutes away from Jackson Hole, and right up the road from the Grand Prismatic Springs. Upon arrival, you'll see the steam float and hiss above the earth even in it's most calm state. Each eruption occurs every 35-120 minutes. However, even if you miss it, it still feels well-worth your time due to the surreal nature of the landscape.
