The Orlando Science Center is 4 floors of interactive science experiences that can fill your day!

Park in the garage and make your way over through the glass tunnel to access the Orlando Science Center on the second floor.  Just past the check-in desk, you'll notice this floor is bustling with excitement.  On one side is the science-filled gift shop, and on the other is the entry to KidZone, the newest addition to the center.  KidZone features a variety of interactive activities designed for the under 12 crowd, and some areas geared specifically to center age groups.  This area alone will allow the hours to just fly by with the discoveries they will make. Just beyond that on the second floor, you can find the traveling exhibit area, where depending on what there is, seasonally will rotate.  There is a theater here for daily movie rotations, and on occasional weekends, second-run movies!

Moving up to the 3rd, you'll find a Kinetic Zone designed more for a tween to teen crowd with interactive spaces to design experiments of forces.  The 4th floor features natural sciences, including the dinosaur exhibit, weather exhibit, and more interactive elements to test the forces of nature.

The 1st floor offers animal viewings, and you'll notice that as you make your way up and down the stairs or the glass elevator.  You're overlooking the indoor home of alligators and turtles, and they share that space with ever more native critters as you walk the floor to discover the creatures of Florida!  The opposite end of this floor also features a theater for CineDome movie screenings (included with most admission, outside of any gratis ones provided).

The Science Center also offers a variety of special events - from kids camps to family outings and adult-only gatherings - just find one to fit your size! These are all special ticket events and not included with admission, but worth taking time to schedule a visit!

Need a bite to eat? There is an indoor cafe downstairs on the first floor - 4Roots Cafe offers a variety of wholesome options. There's also a Coffee Spot to grab your caffeine need and some treats for kids.  But you can bring your own lunch/snacks and eat just outside the Science Center in the green space surrounded by the other venues of Loch Haven Park.
