Paloma Community Park and Playground Is a Stunning Park with Pickleball Courts, an Inclusive Designed Playground, a Fishing Lake, and Picnic Ramadas.

Paloma Community Park is a wonderful 85-acre park in the Peoria suburb and has multiple recreation activities. Currently, this park is still a work in progress, and they have a plan to open other phases of the park in the coming years. Currently, phase 1 was completed in October of 2020 and includes lighted ball fields, playground, splash pad, fishing lake, dog park, and concession stands.

The playground is a large and colorful site with multiple slides (including one VERY tall tube slide!), a seated merry-go-round, activity boards, curvy balance beams, monkey bars, tube slides, regular slides....honestly, this playground has everything. It is a huge hit with the kids!

The Paloma Community Playground is also adaptive and inclusive. They thought of everything for anyone with a disability, including changing tables in the bathrooms for larger/older children. They also have a communication board (next to the activity boards) that can help children who have difficulty communicating to relay their feelings and emotions at the moment.

The Paloma Community Park is quite literally one of the most gorgeous parks in the region. The mountains in the distance, the perfectly manicured green space and ball fields, and the bright and fun playground make this a no-brainer stop in the Peoria area!

The second phase of the park will possibly see a skate park, equestrian trails, walking trails, and a drone zone along with additional ball fields, parking, and restrooms.
