A wicked cool park in a charming small town in the mountains.

This 66-acre park offers walking paths, picnic pavilions, and a large playground. The Park at Flat Rock is a place to enjoy its natural beauty and benefits of outdoor recreation while also preserving and protecting the wildlife that makes their home there. The outer trail system is 1.5 miles long and perfect for walking, running, or biking. Do note scooters, skateboards, rollerblades, and motorized vehicles are not allowed on the path. This is also a tobacco-free park.

There are two playgrounds suitable for different age groups with various rope climbs, slides, natural rocks, and more. There are even balance beams to test your coordination. As an adult, I was having a blast at this park.

The kids had so much fun they didn’t want to leave. Pack a snack or a lunch because you’re going to be here a while.
