This park is the favorite among the local moms club group and sure to become one of your favorites too.

Park on Wilgrove in Mint Hill has a mulched playground, tennis courts, gravel walking path, baseball field, concrete basketball area, and covered shelters. The playground features a large play structure for bigger kids, a smaller play structure for younger kids, swings, sandpit area, and a rock wall. The playground area is well-shaded, which makes it perfect for summer play. Since the park is shaded it can stay fairly wet during the rainy season so bring a towel to wipe down slides. There are several benches around the park to be able to sit and watch the kids. The playground equipment is suited best for 12 and under but with other activities for older kids, the whole family can enjoy an outing. The gravel path winds in and around the park and has exercise stations such as stretching post, push-up bars, and pull-up bars. Using a jogging stroller on the path is best but an umbrella stroller would make it around. If your child rides a bike, the walking path is a great place for them to ride. A small section of the trail goes into the trees for a more trail-like walk. A small creek runs along the backside of the park which my kids love to look in and explore. There are 4 fenced in tennis courts to play on, 2 on each side of the park, and two covered shelter areas. You can rent out the covered shelters with grills near by for gatherings. This park is always well-maintained and restrooms and park are always clean.

Bring a lunch or snack for a picnic, as my kids have played here for hours before or head into the town of Mint Hill for good eats when you're done.
