Explore this Beautiful Park in the Heart of Belle Meade!
Parmer Park and Playground is a beautiful neighborhood park and it’s located at the former site of historic school (the brick archway is a remnant of said school). There is TONS of green space, as well as a traditional playground (slides, climbing equipment), a swingset, and basketball court. You'll find lots of activity including children practicing sports - my girls had their soccer practices there. Past the playground towards the open green space is a small, very shallow creek area. There is a path to stroll and / or scooter.
A gazebo with picnic tables is available for birthday parties, etc.
Sometimes the ice cream truck stops by on warmer days.
Beware - the bathroom is only a port-a-potty.
