Hot Chicken Restaurant in the Heart of Donelson

Party Fowl has 4 locations across the Nashville area but this is focused on the Donelson location.  It’s in central Donelson, has a fun and colorful building with a large outdoor seating area and is a great place to try Nashville’s signature dish: hot chicken!  Though your children should likely steer clear of the hot chicken, they’ll be delighted with a small and simple kids’ menu: chicken tenders, mac-n-cheese, or grilled cheese as well as a couple of brunch items if you are there during that time.  If the adults in your party are trying the hot chicken, don’t worry: you can go from ‘mild’ to ‘poultrygeist.’  It’s a great stop after a hike at Stone River Greenway or Peeler Park.  For adults, there is good beer on draught.

The chicken is good, the vibe is fun, and we enjoyed sitting on the patio during fall.  Though there were TV’s on the porch playing a football game, we didn’t find them distracting.

All locations have dine-in, takeout, and delivery but check the hours before you go as they vary by location and by season.
