This welcoming restaurant is super kid-friendly, and features excellent coffee and food!

People's Organic is a great choice for a family-friendly meal while you're in the Twin Cities. Their breakfast is our favorite, though with hours of operation from 8 am to 8 pm, you can really enjoy any meal of the day here. But if you adore hearty, all-day breakfasts as we do, this is a great spot for you. From savory breakfast burritos to piping hot quiche, organic bagels or steel-cut oats, to classic Minnesota wild rice, their breakfast menu will have you under its spell. The eggs are all organic, and they're also known for their fresh salads and burgers. There's truly something for everyone, and everything on the menu is delicious.

Another bonus about People's Organic, besides their emphasis on organic coffee and food, is that they make a huge effort to also offer a variety of gluten-free, vegan, and vegetarian options.

In pre-Covid days, we loved that People's Organic offered a play area for kids, equipped with several toys and games, as well as a little playhouse. I'm hopeful that these bonus family items will once again make a comeback, once the pandemic has cooled off. It is certainly a bonus to have a little spot near your table where kids can be kids while eating out.

The coffee here is also noteworthy, and, yep, you guessed it, also organic. The coffee is also quite tasty, and it's always nice to make a stop that has both delicious food and coffee.

There's plenty of parking here with a sizeable lot, and I've never had to wait too long for food. Though order-ahead is always an option if you feel like grabbing and heading out on an adventure. After fueling up here, I highly recommend checking out either Staring Lake Park if you're in the mood for a really excellent playground and hiking trails, or Edenbrook Conservation Area if you just want to get a bit lost in nature on some gorgeous hiking trails.
