Perdido Kids' Park has a unique playground in Pensacola and is a must visit for a cool day outside!

Perdido Kids Park has something exciting at every turn - kids will love exploring it and uncovering all of the amazing details throughout the playground! The playground is in one enclosed space, however it does have a separate area for little kids from the big kid castle spot.

The little kids section is still anything but little - there is a fairly big jungle gym, with a range of climbing options, so all kids can participate regardless of their climbing abilities. There are some super cute little slides, with a fan favorite being the racing slides. There are a few pieces of equipment that are miniature versions of what they see in the big kids area, so your younger ones will be able to feel just as grown up as their big siblings. There are also baby swings and a lot of space for the kiddos to run around freely. Although this is the specified little kid section, there are a bunch of things that they will find fun to explore safely in the other one as well.

Entering the castle-like jungle gym is a surreal experience for anyone, especially little kids. It is such a creative playscape that fosters imaginative play no matter what interests your kiddo has. They can race each other in cars, fly planes, run around the forest, play an intense game of the floor is lava, and so much more here! The park has every piece of equipment you could think of, from a tire swing to balance beams to monkey bars. Most of the equipment I have never even seen before, it is truly a one of a kind amazing playground. There are big slides, a bunch of nooks and crannies to explore within the castle, and still enough open space that kids can run freely to play their favorite playground games. The ground is wood chipped, so be sure that all of your kiddos are in sneakers to avoid splinters. The perimeter has plenty of benches and picnic tables all around, so there is sure to be an open seat, and there are a lot under the shade of gazebos to keep cool. I will say that the jungle gym is so large that there are definitely a lot of spots your kids can play that you can’t see from the benches, however as mentioned, it is enclosed so that eases some of the worries. The castle also is tall enough that you can pretty easily follow your kids around if they struggle with some of the climbing.

There was a large parking lot, so you shouldn't have to worry about finding a parking spot. The restrooms were closed during our visit, so I wouldn’t depend on them being open as the hours are unclear.
