The Perfect Place to Play Games or Sports 

A large park and recreation facility off Talbot Street, just past The Inn at Perry Cabin, this complex has athletic fields and a basketball court. It has a larger playground than at Hollis Park and also features swings. If you’re staying in or around the heart of town it’s a manageable walk or a short bike ride if you want to rent bikes and make it a destination.

There are a picnic pavilion and restrooms so feel free to grab food on the way from one of the neighborhood spots. For picnicing, we recommend Eat Sprout Cafe. They have great grab and go options. If you need a sweet treat, Justine's Ice Cream Parlor is right down the road. Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum is also walkable and is a great place to spend a few hours, you can even rent boats from the museum.
